What is Reiki?

Reiki is “Universal Life Energy”. When the “rei” and the “Ki” are broken down into their component parts, the Kanji (Japanese alphabet), definition for Reiki is Transcendental Spirit, Mysterious Power, and Essence. As ‘Rei’ is also Universal Energy on an ancient character for Rain and ‘Ki’ is the character for Vitality or Personal Energy, ‘Chi’ in Chinese or ‘Prana’ in Sanskrit.

So, Reiki is the Universal Life Energy raining down into the Life Force in the individual being. We all have Reiki energy (Universal Life Force Energy) To be precise, once could say that we ARE Reiki or Universal Life Force Energy, for it is the very ‘stuff’ we are made of. Even science now recognises the fact that so called solid objects are just densely vibrating energy, in fact, there is no solid matter. Hermetic science also states that ‘all is Energy’. In my practice I use Reiki as part of Life Coaching and not as a form of healing for illnesses. I help my clients find their path to Enlightenment using Reiki and Universal Energies.
I also attune people to Reiki so that they can use if for their own reasons

The five Concepts of Reiki:

1. The secret art of inviting happiness,
....The miraculous medicine for all diseases.

2. At least for today:
- - Do not be angry,
- - Do not worry,
- - Be grateful,
- - Work with diligence,
- - Be kind to people.

3. Every morning and evening, join your hands in meditation and
... pray with your heart.

4. State in your mind and chant with your mouth.

What is a Reiki Grand Master?

This is an individual who has progressed through Levels 1 to 18 and is able to attune Masters & Teachers to higher levels of vibration. A Grand Master has spent many hours using and meditating on each additional symbol, learning the significance of each and how they can be used to heal oneself, others and Mother Earth. The symbols are very powerful.

These vibrations with accompanying symbols are useful to any light worker who wishes to work further with additional energies and advance themselves on their own path. The symbols can be used in therapeutic healing, but it must always be remembered that the founder of the original Usui System of Reiki, Dr Usui, did not intend Reiki to be used for healing, it was only intended as a way to Enlightenment. The Healing system, Levels and hand positions, etc were set up by someone else to make the system easier to understand.

Therefore a Grand Master will generally offer these further attunements to those on their own spiritual path of enlightenment.
